Danny G Felix embodies the spirit of joy and passion through his exceptional skills as a pianist, trumpeter, and composer/producer. His unique style spans multiple genres including Jazz, Latin, RnB, Kompa/Ghetto-Zouk and global dance music. Because of his energy, creativity and commitment, he’s been considered a luminary in the Sydney music scene for over a decade. Danny G Felix has left an indelible mark as the founder of three iconic live music residencies – The Monday Jam, Jazz HipHop Freestyle Sessions, and Wednesday Jazz at Kalyx.

Danny’s musical journey has taken him to Cali, Colombia where he’s made significant contributions with his popular salsa orchestra Malo Malo and his role in the legendary group Orquesta Calibre. His work with esteemed artists such as Gregory Porter, Sampa the Great, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Mayito Rivera, Aloe Blacc, Tirso Duarte, Ngaiire, Deni Hines, and Mike Nock reflect Danny’s artistry that resonates on an international level. His dedication to creating soul-stirring music is not just an occupation but a heartfelt mission to spread joy through the universal language of music.
